The Challenge
First Financial Northwest Bank’s Fiserv Financial Accounting Solution was not scaling with the bank’s needs. The system was slow, lacked security and functionality, and left the internal team unable to enhance it or add new features.
The Solution
Mythics guided First Financial Northwest Bank through a migration from Fiserv to PeopleSoft FSCM on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The new environment included scalable computing power and storage, disaster recovery, and network-to-network security. Mythics also provided ongoing Managed Services, enabling the bank to keep PeopleSoft running at peak performance without adding internal support staff.
Services provided:
- Built the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Tenancy and PeopleSoft Environments
- Trained the Bank’s Team on PeopleSoft Core Financials and Gathered Requirements
- Facilitated System Design Workshops and Validated the Proof of Concept
- Configured and Tested PeopleSoft Using Mostly Remote Resources
- Provided Testing and Training Support, Managed Cutover, and Ensured Post-Launch Stabilization
The Results
- Four-month migration. Accounting, asset management, and accounts payable were migrated from Fiserv to PeopleSoft FSCM in 4 months.
- Minimal internal lift. The project ran with minimal internal resources and no in-house infrastructure.
- 2022 PeopleSoft Innovator. Oracle recognized the project as a PeopleSoft Innovator.
“With minimal upfront investment and zero on-prem infrastructure, Mythics helped us launch a turnkey, off-the-shelf PeopleSoft FSCM Cloud accounting system in just four months.”
